Every year the Municipality of Manavgat organized ‘‘the Manavgat tourism festival’’ scheduled in the summer of every year. This year although the newly elected municipal government deceided due to the municipality's debts not to organize the festival this year(2009).In the past many famous artists such as Tarkan joined the festival. What will happen in the future of the festival is not yet clear.
