Antalya Film Festival Announces Winners!
At the 45th year of the longest-running cinema summit of Turkey, the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival and the 4th year of the Golden Orange's global gateway, the International Eurasia Film Festival, 10 days of exuberance where continents, cultures and dreams have reconciled, concluded with a splendid ceremony and revealed the award-winners of the 45th year.

Introduced for the first time within the frame of 42nd Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, the International Eurasia Film Festival achieved a great success and gained its individual character as an acclaimed film festival. More than 200 films of every genre, length and format from different countries all over the world are screened as a part of the whole event. The festival is divided into different sections, each with its own unique, conceptual profile where the Competition section accepts films from Europe and Asia. With tributes and retrospectives of world celebrated actors/actresses and directors and the fresh names of the international film scene, International Eurasia Film Festival is a great summit of cultural interaction and a showcase for what is happening in cinema. Through film series, workshops, panels and thematic collaborations with other players of cultural grounds - International Eurasia Film Festival offers countless forms of co-operation and creative interaction.

3rd International MANAVGAT MTB Mountainbike Marathon

15-16th May 2008!
World Chaimpionship's first leg Mountain Bike marathon in Manavgat started 15 may 2008. In the mens cathegory, the French rider Thomas Dietsch was confirmed as the winner and the Austrian rider Alban Lakata took the second place. In the women's race the Fin Pia Sundstedt won the first Marathon World Cup leg. Five seconds after Sundstedt finished the Italian Annabella Stropparo, it was a tough battle.
The marathon which had tough sections with its 89 km long track started at the Manavgat bridge in the center of Manavgat .and continued towards Manavgat Waterfall, Naras bridge, Bucak Şıhlar village, Seleukeia, Yangın Kulesi, Oymapınar dam, Türbe, Değirmenli, Sığırcılar, Manavgat dam and fınally finished at the begining point. During the marathon Manavgat hosted many exciting activities.
